Navajo Mountain Chapter Meeting House Utah
Youth worked together to explore their connection to the land & mythology of Navajo Mountain
Community members identified elders who embody the spirit of Navajo Mountain. This mural features Grandpa Buck, teh oldest medicine man in NM, Gloria Polski who left NM for 44 years & returned, Florence who still cares for dozens of sheep & goats & Bahe Ketchum, one of the Navajo Code Talkers
In collaboration with Cultivate the City, NCC Church & 11th St Bridge Project, we painted this shipping container to support the narrative of the space. Barracks grow is a pop-up urban garden.

In memory of Chyemil Pierce, a 30 yr old mother caught in crossfire 1 block from this wall. While painting this wall Antonio Ramos, an Oakland muralist was murdered just a few blocks away while painting in the street. Both memories were with me while I created this piece.

Honoring Wangari Maathai & Lower Haight neighborhood community residents
I worked with 2 Jacks restaurant in the Lower Haight of San Francisco to create a mural that weaves together imagery of California sharecroppers & family.
Whether it's the neighborhood where I live or a community I team up with to create something authentic for their space, it's important to me that public spaces honor the people who live in them and bring focus to collective identity & shared visions for transformation.
